I'm a software developer who writes code in Python, Java, and C# depending on what's in front of me. Outside of work I run Arch Linux on everything I can get away with and self-host basically every service I use.

Not because it's cheaper. It usually isn't, once you count the time. But I'd rather spend a weekend figuring out why Traefik won't route my subdomain than pay someone else to handle it and never understand what's happening.

This blog started because I kept solving the same problems twice. Now I don't have to.

If I ever get my ADHD under control, I might even post on a regular schedule. We'll see.
